Condor Flugdienst GmbH, branded as Condor, is a German leisure airline. This airline was founded in 1955 and commenced its operations in 1956. This airline is based in Frankfurt and is also the third largest commercial carrier in Germany based on fleet size and passengers flown. Condor is a subsidiary of the British Thomas Cook Group. The airline has its main base at the Frankfurt Airport.

Condor has codeshare agreements with Air Namibia, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium. This airline also has interline agreements with several other carriers like airBaltic, Copa Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Air Dolomiti, Czech Airlines, Volaris, etc.

Connectivity and Fleet Size

Condor flights serve several leisure destinations in Asia, Africa, South America, Europe and the North America. Frankfurt, Anchorage, Cape Town, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Kilimanjaro, Los Angeles and Minneapolis are some of the major destinations where one can easily find Condor reservations and Condor deals.  

Condor Airlines currently operates a total of 45 aircraft, and it consists of 16 Boeing 767-300ER, 11 Airbus A320-200, 10 Boeing 757-300 and eight Airbus A321 -200.

TV series, documentaries and children’s movies are shown on ceiling monitors to passengers traveling on short-haul and medium-haul flights. Also, the passengers can while away their time by listening to one or all of the many different music channels streaming latest chart hits, pop, rock, jazz and classical.

Passengers traveling on long-haul flights on Boeing 766 fleet can use the in-flight entertainment system on personal monitors that are available at each seat in all the travel classes. Also, the passengers traveling with Premium Class and Business Class tickets can use Condor’s Premium Entertainment programme without paying extra charges.

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers are allowed only one item weighing 13 lbs.

The passengers traveling in Premium Class are allowed to carry one carry-on bag not weighing over 22 lbs.

Business Class passengers are allowed only two item weighing total 26 lbs.

Each piece of carry-on baggage must not exceed over 21x15x7 linear inches each.

A small handbag, a laptop or tablet including the case and an umbrella may be carried into the cabin for free in addition to the hand baggage.

Checked Baggage

The Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry only one baggage with the maximum weight of 50 lbs.

The Premium Class passengers are allowed to carry one checked baggage not weighing over 70 lbs.

All the business class passengers are permitted with two checked baggage with the maximum weight 70 lbs. each.
