Horizon Air commenced its operations in 1986 as a subsidiary airline under Alaska Air Group. Horizon Air sprouted to existence in response to the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978.  The airline has it’s headquarter in SeaTac, Washington while the main hub is at Portland International Airport.

Carry-on baggage

Passengers flying on Horizon Air are allowed to carry one carry-on bag with total dimensions not exceeding the specifications of 10 x 17 x 24 inches. Also, one personal item can be carried by the passengers.

Checked Baggage

Passengers flying on Horizon Air are not allowed to carry checked baggage for free. Additional fee needs to be paid for carrying the bags and such bags are charged differently depending upon the number of bags.
