LATAM Ecuador, formerly known as LAN Ecuador is a subsidiary of LATAM Airlines. It was established in July 2002 and commenced operations in April 2003. Its headquarters are based in Guayaquil, Ecuador with its primary hubs situated at Mariscal Sucre International Airport and Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport. The airline started its domestic operations by the end of March 2009 after receiving an approval in December 2008.
